We’re building a market where local farmers and artisans thrive, communities come together, and Provo grows one neighbor, one family, and one shared table at a time.
Our farmers and food producers are at the heart of the market, connecting Utah Valley families directly with the people who grow their food.

FAQs
-
No. The Farmers Market is an independent, non-profit organization run by a citizen-led board of directors and established for the purpose of providing farmers, residents, local businesses, and artisans a place to buy, sell, and showcase their products.
-
While the driving force of farmers markets is to provide local farmers and residents a place to buy and sell produce, other vendors are allowed to participate alongside them. That is typically the same for farmers markets across Utah and the U.S.
-
The agricultural products at the Provo Farmers Market are required to be produced within 250 miles of Provo City, but most products are grown right along the Wasatch Front and within Utah Valley. We want to provide you with the widest possible variety of freshly picked produce.
-
Yes! Our local farmers will always be our top priority and our strongest motivation for what we do. Please contact us if you have produce you would like to sell at the market.
-
In Northern Utah, produce is normally ready to be picked and sold in July. Starting in July, farmers are present for the remainder of the season with produce available right up to the last day!
-
Yes! The lost and found is located at our main booth by the playground.
-
Buskers are welcomed at the market. Buskers are musicians, face painters, cartoonists, caricature artists, balloon sculptors, etc. that perform for tips only. They must be soloists and set up only in designated busking areas. They are not allowed to use amplification of percussion. Please email us at emily@provofarmersmarket.com if you are interested in busking.
-
We love to support and promote local musicians! Please email us at emily@provofarmersmarket.com if you or your band are interested in performing at the market.
-
We offer a limited number of sponsorship packages. If you are interested in being a sponsor or would like more information on sponsorships, please reach out to us at pfarmersmarket@gmail.com.
-
Yes! Dogs must be kept on a 6-foot leash and away from produce, plants, and other food products. Come prepared to clean up after your dog and do so as needed.
-
No. We do not allow the sale of live animals at the Provo Farmers Market.
-
Visitors and vendors alike, please see this map for available parking. We suggest walking or riding your bike when possible to avoid busy parking.

Yes, we love having youth entrepreneurs! We have spots for youth aged 5-11 years and 12-17 years. All children must apply online in order to sell at the market. For more information, please read through our Youth Vendor Info Sheet.
-
Youth are no longer allowed to sell edible products at the Provo Farmers Market. Youth vendor spaces are reserved for the purpose of encouraging creativity in young artisans/makers. For more information on what artisans/makers can sell, please see our Rules and Regulations.
-
Youth vendor spots are smaller than regular vendor spots. They are about 5ft x 5ft. Because they are smaller, they are discounted. Spots for children 5-11 years are $5 per Saturday, and spots for children 12-17 are $15 per Saturday.
-
We off a limited number of spots for non-profits. Please see our vendor page to see our fees and categories. Non-profits must attach appropriate paperwork to their applications to be considered.

Booths on the inside of the sidewalk have always been setback 5-8 feet away from the sidewalk for most of the history of the Market at Pioneer Park. This allows people to line up at a booth with adequate spacing between people and not impede the free flow of pedestrians on the sidewalk. We have received queries on how we are in compliance with the ADA when there is not an ADA-accessible path leading to each vendor. As the ADA allows “reasonable accommodations” when a lack of ADA compliant facilities exists, and in reaction to these concerns, we have prepared a reasonable accommodation plan for mobility-impaired individuals.
Between 10 am and 1 pm, mobility-impaired customers may request a personal shopping assistant from Provo Farmers Market staff
An available staff member during these hours will assist mobility-impaired customers by photographing the products at booths they are interested in and displaying these items on a computer tablet to the customer.
If the customer wishes to examine the product closer, the Market staff will arrange for the booth vendor to bring a sample to the sidewalk for visual inspection and assist with any transactions that occur.
Staff will assist mobility-impaired customers with one trip through the market per week.
Signage at the market welcome booth will indicate the availability of this service, as well as the Market website.
